Fastest Kid on the Block 2025 ​​​

Firstly thank you to Sport Whanganui, Athletics Whanganui, the Sports Heritage Trust for hosting this event as part of the Cooks Classic.

Special thanks to our sponsors and supporters of the FKOTB this year, Taumarunui Youth and Community Trust, Sport Whanganui, Hayden at Mt View and Diane from Cookie Time. Without their support this event would not be possible.

We are now in the 7th year of this event and it continues to grow each year. Winners have included Springvale 2017, Taumarunui, 2018, Western 2019, Eastern in 2020, Taumarunui in 2021 and our 2025 champions this year are Western.

Thank you to all the competitors and their families and friends. Everyone represented their neighbourhood proudly on the track but most importantly you looked like you were having fun.

We so glad you could all come along and be part of this wonderful community event and the Cooks Classic.

Who will be the fastest neighbourhood next year? Only time will tell. We look forward to seeing you all out in the community next summer.
